SOLV Energy has been recognized as a Sapphire Class Certification Sponsor for supporting team members in achieving safety certification. This recognition is awarded by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) to organizations that advance safety through the certification of their team.
“Safety is embedded into our culture at SOLV Energy,” said George Hershman, CEO of SOLV Energy. “Pursuit of BCSP certifications aligns with our motto ‘Work Safe, Work Smart’ and supports our people by offering opportunities to advance their knowledge and skills and grow in their careers.”
BCSP’s Chief Executive Officer, Christy Uden, CAE, IOM, says “Our Certification Sponsors make safety a value in their organizations and demonstrate their dedication to the well-being of employees, their families, and communities by supporting their teams’ safety development. BCSP is glad to have them join us in creating a safer world through safety certification.”
BCSP certifications, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), provide an objective measure of certification holders’ experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as requiring their continued professional development. Sponsors report certificants as having increased confidence in identifying potential workplace hazards, and often credit certification as essential components in programs that have improved safety performance.
Over 50,000 BCSP certifications are currently held by safety practitioners.
