As a nationwide renewable solutions provider, SOLV Energy is proud to support educational initiatives that empower the next generation of sustainability leaders. Through its third annual PowerUp! Renewable Energy Scholarship, SOLV Energy is excited to announce the six awardees who will each receive $1,500 to support their pursuit of higher education in sustainability or clean energy fields.
This year, SOLV Energy judges—Bronson Bass, Tessa Swift, Alli Comings, and Bobbie Dickerson—collaborated with industry professionals Kelsey Noll (Arevon), Julia Charad (Groundwork Renewables), and Rachel Chandler (Nextracker) to thoughtfully review more than 40 student applications. To be considered, each applicant submitted a 500–1,000 word essay detailing how they plan to use their education to build a more sustainable planet.
SOLV Energy is thrilled to recognize the six recipients of the 2025 PowerUp! Renewable Energy Scholarship and where they will be continuing their education:
Brown University
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Georgia Institute of Technology
Tuskegee University
Arizona State University
Minnesota State University Moorhead
Through this initiative, SOLV Energy continues to fuel the dreams of students who share its values and are committed to driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond. The PowerUp! Scholarship represents a ripple effect of good energy—extending far beyond project sites into classrooms, households, and the lives of future climate leaders.
SOLV Energy extends its heartfelt thanks to the external judges whose insight and dedication helped uplift the next generation of sustainability advocates. Their partnership plays a vital role in empowering students to pursue a brighter, greener future.
