We're excited to share the new name and look of our community relations program, Good Energy!

Service to our communities is at the heart of every solar project that we build, operate and manage. Since the beginning, we have been guided by a mission to make a positive difference wherever we go through projects that generate good energy for people and the planet.

As a company and a corporate family, it’s our duty to participate in the betterment of the places where our teams live and work. We believe in building better responsibly, and we do so through our commitment to economic and workforce development, philanthropy, safety, health and wellness, innovation, collaboration, and ensuring we are environmentally conscious in all our operations. Corporate Social Responsibility is not merely a department; it is the very DNA of our organization.

The term "Good Energy" was inspired by an effort to generate positivity and unity during the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While many of us were adapting to working from home full-time for the first time, many others on our team were adapting to new health and safety regulations to continue working safely through an unprecedented time. Employees were encouraged to share messages of support for their team members and stories of service to their communities using the #goodenergy tag. As we continued to work through 2020 to now, the idea of good energy grew into a motto for all the good work we were doing, in our communities, on the job sites and beyond.

Through our philanthropy and employees’ volunteer efforts, we strive to make a positive impact in our communities. Our mission is to support health, social services, cultural, educational and environmental programs and serve as a catalyst for our employees to become involved in supporting organizations, causes and activities that are important to them. We’re proud to partner with nonprofits in our home city of San Diego and in the towns we build in across the United States.

To celebrate the launch of Good Energy and Giving Tuesday, we're donating to several organizations that are near and dear to our company and employees, including the Heart of America Foundation, Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI), CASAs of Imperial Valley and Kern County and Feeding America and its affiliated food banks, including Feeding San Diego, Interfaith Food Shuttle in North Carolina and 2nd Harvest in Bend, OR.

Follow along on social media as we bring Good Energy to our communities in 2022.
